Leading CSHP staff is, CEO, Loriann DeMartini, Pharm.D., BCGP. Loriann is well known in the pharmacy profession nationally and statewide for her accomplishments and contributions to improving patient care through promotion of medication safety during her tenure with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for the past 24 years. Together, we will move forward to embrace the full potential of our profession and meet the healthcare needs of all Californians.

Loriann DeMartini, Pharm.D., BCGP
Chief Executive Officer 

Dr. DeMartini is well known in the pharmacy profession nationally and statewide for her accomplishments and contributions to improving patient care through promotion of medication safety during her tenure with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for the past 24 years.  Nationally, Dr. DeMartini has held multiple leadership roles such as with CMS Hospital Faculty Bureau, CMS Long Term Care Expert Panel member, American Society of Consultant Pharmacist Advisory Board member on medication use in long term care facilities, contribution to Institute of Medicine’s report on prevention of medication errors, and is a member of the national Public Health Accreditation Improvement Advisory Committee.  Under Dr.DeMartini's leadership she created the first ever statewide Medication Error Reduction Program (MERP) for 400 plus hospitals. The program was nationally recognized by the Institute for Safe Medication Practice (ISMP), in 2010, as a program that all states should adopt. Dr. DeMartini currently holds faculty appointments at three pharmacy schools in California.  She is a Fellow with the Health Care Leaders Network with California Health Care Foundation and has received several awards on outstanding leadership in public health.  Dr. DeMartini has also authored several articles related to medication use and safety, most recently a white paper published by CDPH on Comprehensive Medication Management

Cindy Bouris
Continuing Education Manager

Cindy joined CSHP in 2015 as Continuing Education Manager, responsible for overseeing education opportunities provided to its members, through partnerships with member volunteers and its accrediting body, ACPE.  She holds a Master’s in Education Administration and a PMP certificate.  She began her career as a teacher, moved into training program management and ultimately project management. Her project experience spans Education, Training, I.T., and Manufacturing.  Through all her roles, her passion is to help people improve themselves or their situation. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking big dinners for the family, volunteering, tutoring and dabbling in photography. A fun day for her includes a large body of water, a good book, headphones and dark chocolate.  A really fun day is when her kids and grandkids are there too.

Dianne Coker
Chapter Relations Liaison

Dianne Coker is the Chapter Relations Liasion at CSHP. She holds a degree in Christian Leadership from William Jessup University. To her, leadership is another form of service, and serving others is her passion, whether in a lead or support role. Dianne is involved in her community. Among other activities, she facilitates a single parent’s support group. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters and four grandchildren, playing tennis and other outdoor activities, and entertaining at home.

Cindy Hespe, RPh, FCSHP
Managing Editor, CJHP

Cindy Hespe, RPh, FCSHP, is the managing editor of CJHP.   
In addition to being a practicing pharmacist, Cindy has experience in pharmacy association management including serving as a consultant to CSHP and other organizations since the late 90s.  When not at work, she enjoys volunteering, reading, entertaining, and spending time with her husband and two teen sons.

Stacey Kilpatrick
Industry Relations Liaison

A Long Beach native, Stacey’s first job, while attending CSU Long Beach, was at a neighborhood Rexall Drug Store.  After graduating, Stacey worked in Sales and Marketing for the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Council, where she worked with associations interested in bringing their meetings and conventions to Long Beach.  When she moved to Sacramento, she was fortunate to be offered a job as a meeting planning assistant for the California Pharmacists Association, working with the late Geri McDonald.  After raising her family, Stacey was anxious to return to association work and is excited to be working for yet another pharmacy association!!  Stacey loves to spend time with her daughters, work in the garden, spend time at the beach and is a concert junkie!

Preena Lobo
Executive Assistant/Governance

Preena is the Executive Assistant to the CSHP Board of Directors, House of Delegates and Foundation. She holds an MBA degree in Marketing Management and a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree in Print & Media Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, India. Having worked over a decade with the Print and Media industry in India she relocated with her family to California and is happy to be working with CSHP. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, singing & music, loves watching period British drama’s and trying out new dishes in her kitchen.

Megan Page

Administrative Assistant/Government Affairs Liaison


Megan Page is the Government Affairs Liaison at CSHP. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and is nearing completion of the Master of Arts program in Government at California State University, Sacramento.  In between work and school, Megan enjoys traveling, trivia, cooking and spending time with her family.

Ryan Yamamura
Marketing/Communications Liaison

Ryan Yamamura is your CSHP 'go to" guy for anything marketing or communications.   He received his degree in Business Administration with specialties in Marketing and Computer Technology from the University Of Oregon. He has worked with multiple marketing teams over the years to help create a better digital presence and an overall better customer experience for the user. When away from his desk, he enjoys spending his time with his family, traveling, cooking and cheering for his alma-mater year round.
