Target Audience: This program is offered as a live lecture designed for Pharmacy Leaders, Pharmacists, and all those interested in learning about new pharmacy laws.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Describe the changes in state and federal laws for 2018, focusing extensively on changes in controlled substance prescribing and dispensing laws.

  • Explain the political reasons for the ever-changes regulatory climate for California Pharmacists.

  • Summarize the new standards of practices regarding corresponding responsibility and controlled substance prescribing and dispensing.

  • Identify resources for staying current on changing regulatory issues.
