CSHP values its members and their contributions to the practice of pharmacy. Below you will find award and recognition recipients, as well as nomination and application instructions.

Affiliate Chapter Public Relations Recognition Program The Affiliate Chapter Public Relations Recognition Program was established to recognize chapters for their efforts in organizing and implementing public relations activities. The chapter with the most innovative or creative event for the year will be awarded.

		Distinguished Service Award (DSA) This award shall recognize one individual annually who has made exceptional and sustained contributions to the Society at the regional and state levels. The Distinguished Service Award recipient does not necessarily have to be a pharmacist (e.g., dean of a pharmacy school, legislator, or public official).
		CSHP Fellows (FCSHP) The CSHP Practitioner Recognition Program, which is annually appointed by the CSHP President, formally recognizes pharmacists that demonstrate an ongoing level of involvement and commitment to educating practitioners, residents, students, administrators, and/or the public in the pharmacy practice.
		Joseph H. Beckerman Memorial Scholarship Fund The Joseph H. Beckerman Memorial Scholarship Fund honors Joe Beckerman and creates a lasting legacy of his commitment to health-system pharmacy. The scholarship fund's purpose is to continue his vision of health-system pharmacy as an integral component to the delivery of health care in this country.
		Honorary Members The CSHP Board of Directors bestows lifetime Honorary Membership on individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to CSHP, the profession of pharmacy in health-care settings or the community.
		Pharmacist of the Year (POY) The Pharmacist of the Year Award shall be awarded to one member annually who has made “significant and sustained” contributions to pharmacy practice in California.
		Regional Chapter of Distinction Award The Regional Chapter of Distinction Award was established to recognize chapters that show excellence in finance, business processes, membership growth, and member satisfaction.
		Star Awards Star Awards recognize pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and students that recruit CSHP members each fiscal year from July 1 to June 30.
		Student Leadership Award (SLA) The Student Leadership Award recognizes pharmacy students’ involvement in and contribution to CSHP and the profession of pharmacy, which may include, but should not be limited to, leadership roles (i.e. student chapter officer).
		Technician Achievement Award The Technician Achievement Award annually recognizes a pharmacy technician who participates in CSHP activities, provides exemplary service to the pharmacy profession, and participates in activities that promote the advancement of technician roles within the profession.
