ASHP Accepting Apps. for Medication Safety Team Program Grants


The ASHP Foundation is currently accepting applications to the Medication Safety Team Grant: Optimizing Bedside Technology Solutions program. The program, which is sponsored by Omnicell, Inc., supports research related to the use of barcode scanning technology at the point of medication administration to enhance the safe use of medications. This grant program will be available to research teams composed of a combination of pharmacists, physicians, nurses and informatics experts. The research teams must include a pharmacist as a co-principal investigator.

Preference will be given to research projects with the potential to yield strong scientific evidence that can be applied to practice. Two $40,000 grants will be awarded.
