16 CCR 1707.5 - Patient Centered Prescription Labels

Re: Action to adopt new section at Title 16 California Code of Regulations Section 1707.5 - Requirements For Patient-Centered Prescription Container Labels, and the agenda for the February 17, 2010 meeting.

In the interest of ensuring full consideration of all comments submitted in response to the Board's proposed regulation, at its next meeting on February 17, 2010, the Board will take an additional opportunity to review comments and the text approved by the Board on January 20, 2010.

However, the initial 45-day comment period for this proposed regulation is not being extended and a new regulatory hearing is not being ordered for this February meeting. The next opportunity for public comment directed at the proposed regulation will become available after the modified text and notice is released, which will occur after the February 17, 2010 Board Meeting.
