Northern Inyo Hospital is a busy 25 bed Critical Access hospital located in California’s beautiful Eastern Sierra. The hospital operates a busy 24 hour Emergency Department and Rural Health Clinic which serves patients in a roughly 500 square mile area.
The Clinical Coordinator will develop and implement clinical protocols, lead the Antibiotic Stewardship program, implement competency and clinical skill development programs for pharmacy staff, initiate and conduct outcomes research to advance clinical programs and enhance patient outcomes, develop and leverage key relationships to further clinical goals.
This is a full-time benefited position reporting to the Director of Pharmacy. There is a staffing requirement of 25% and a rotating on call commitment. Requirements: California Pharmacist license, 3 – 5 years of inpatient/clinical pharmacy work, demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills. Residency and Board Certification preferred. BLS, ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire.
The hospital is situated in Bishop, California with abundant year-round recreation opportunities. Mammoth Lakes skiing is 45 minutes away in the winter, Excellent biking, hiking, climbing, bouldering, fishing, etc.
