Valley Children’s Hospital, one of the nation’s largest pediatric hospitals located in affordable Central California, has a full-time opportunity for an oncology pharmacist lead to join our team.  Work in our collaborative team environment with collegial physicians who care for the children in Central California.
We are the second busiest COG site on the west coast and one of the largest in the nation. 

The Lead Pharmacist serves as the clinical expert and operational resource for a designated specialty area (Oncology). Leads or assists in the identification and resolution of work process issues within the department and/or specialty area, assuring quality and patient safety are of greatest importance. Performs a variety of Pharmacist duties at a high functioning level. Works directly with the Pharmacy and department leadership providing practical application of pharmacy protocols, policies, and procedures. Coordinates the initial data collection for the specified department and recommends solutions, consulting with pharmacy management.

Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required. Accredited Pharmacy Residency preferred. Current Registered Pharmacist with the California State Board of Pharmacy required. One (1) year hospital experience required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification preferred.
