SACRAMENTO, CA. Senate Bill 716, authored by Senate Health Committee Chairman Dr. Ed Hernandez, was heard on the Assembly Business and Professions Committee today, Tuesday, July 11, 2017, and was passed by a unanimous vote, 15-0. The bill, which is sponsored by the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, would add a pharmacy technician and an additional member of the public to the Board of Pharmacy.
