SACRAMENTO, CA. Awarded annually to one member who has made exceptional and sustained contribution to the society at the regional and state level, Danny Kudo, PharmD, FCSHP, has been awarded CSHP’s Distinguished Service Award – for 2018.
A longtime member since the 1970’s and one of the first recipients of CSHP’s Fellow distinction in 1993, Dr. Kudo is being recognized for his outstanding level of volunteerism and tireless efforts in contributing to the Society at both the local and state levels. His countless and sustained contribution to the goals and mission of CSHP are evidenced in his dedicated service in the areas of leadership, education and the promotion of the profession of pharmacy.
Active on several key committees for multiple years, Dr. Kudo’s history with CSHP is rich with service. To name just a few: Professional Affairs Committee, Legal And Public Affairs Committee in the 1980’s; Organizational Affairs Committee, HOD delegate, and CSHP Board of Directors member in the 1990’s; Committee on Nominations, Practitioner Fellow Award Committee, and ASHP delegate for several terms in the early 2000’s; He continues to serve locally in the San Gabriel Valley Chapter and has been their president three times in addition to acting as their BOD Parliamentarian.

Dr. Kudo currently Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacy at Keck Graduate Institute School of Pharmacy in Claremont, CA.
He will be honored along with other award recipients during CSHP’s Seminar 2018 Awards Ceremony and Reception on Saturday, October 6th, 2018.
