Sacramento, CA. Awarded annually, CSHP's Technician Achievement Award recognizes a pharmacy technician who participates in CSHP activities, provides exemplary service to the pharmacy profession, and participates in activities which promote the advancement of pharmacy technician roles within the profession.
Jeanne Li, CPhT, FCSHP, has gone above and beyond these merits and has been selected as CSHP’s Technician Achievement Award for 2019. Over the past 30 years as a CSHP member, Ms. Li has played an active part in advocating for the profession of pharmacy as a in a variety of roles. At the state level, Ms. Li has served on numerous committees and task forces including the Technician Division Executive Committee, Seminar Technician Planning Committee, Focus Technician Planning Committee, Membership Committee, Committee on Goals, and Technician Board of Directors. At her local Sacramento Valley chapter, Ms. Li She is currently the co-chair as a Pharmacy Technician Liaison, and serves as Donation Chair for the annual Rib-Fest, which raises scholarship funds for pharmacy students and technician students.
Besides her outstanding work performance and involvement at CSHP, Ms. Li's activism doesn't stop there. Ms Li also is active in public service by helping pharmacy technicians to prepare for the National exam. She is also a member of the Sacramento Medical Reserve Corps and regularly attends the California State Board of Pharmacy Meetings and provides updates to her peers.
For all of her work, Ms. Li will be honored during CSHP’s Seminar 2019 Awards Ceremony and Reception on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Disneyland© Hotel.
