The university is part of the Touro College and University System and is located on the northern tip of San Francisco Bay in Vallejo, California. It has 1,403 students in three graduate professional colleges (Osteopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Education and Health Sciences).
This Assistant Professor position also serves as a Coordinator of Experiential Programs, providing vision and guidance in strategic direction for the College of Pharmacy’s experiential programs as well as fulfilling general clinical practice faculty responsibilities (clinical practice, teaching, service and research). The position requires flexibility, adaptability and creativity. This person must demonstrate excellent communication skills, superior organizational and customer service skills, responsive to directives and a commitment to the mission and development of the College.
- PharmD, California Pharmacist Licensure
- Qualified candidates should have completed at least one year of pharmacy residency with practice experience
- At least 1 year in a management position
- Experience in teaching at the professional student level is highly recommended
- Communicate effectively-both written and verbally.
- Advance computer skills
- Excellent time management skills and team player
