Pharmacy Purchasing Manager

You will oversee the procurement/distribution of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and related products. This involves managing personnel, purchasing, contract administration, inventory control processes and vendor relationships. You will ensure purchasing compliance with the 340B Drug Pricing Program. This includes management of split billing software. You will also handle drug shortages while overseeing cost savings initiatives.

We’re seeking a strong leader with a Pharm.D., a current California Pharmacist license and:

  • Four years of related pharmacist experience
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy purchasing practices
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant government and university regulations
